for A greener future

In Agago district, climate emergency is a critical threat that intersects with every aspect of lives. From the air we breathe to the food we eat, its impacts ripple through society, and affecting vulnerable populations disproportionately. Pregnant women, birthing people, parents and families facing inequalities, the need for collaboration to explore the intersection of the climate emergency and reproductive justice is Give trees a chance for life strategic objective as was applied by indigenous women of colour in 1994. this strategy stems from four core human rights: bodily autonomy, the right to have children, the right not to have children, and the right to parent in safe, and sustainable communities. wide consultation and research targeting climate, health and justice linkages were undertaken which resulted into a comprehensive report with actionable steps for change.
